At CPR, we work with you to make certain your shipment is delivered safely and efficiently. In order to ensure the fewest delays and transport free of penalties or fines, you'll find useful tips, guidelines and information in our handy Border Services booklet.

CP offers customers timely, cost-effective, worry-free transportation solutions among Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.  At CP, we work with you to make certain your shipment is delivered safely and efficiently.  

 

Please do your part to facilitate this objective by including the following additional data elements on all EDI billing of Canadian or U.S. origin shipments to Mexico: 

  1. Final consignee in Mexico, address, city, state
  2. Importer name in Mexico, address, city, state
  3. Customs broker in Mexico, address, city, state 
  4. U.S. Freight Forwarder, address, city, state
  5. CAED or B13A number if exported from Canada
  6. Internal Transaction Number (ITN); or Post Departure Filing citation for all U.S. origin goods exported from the U.S. to Mexico
