Inspection will be permitted on August 14, 2018 only and must be coordinated with the person listed in this tender.

2008 Model Year
These units are being sold with the mechanical units and fuel tanks (Fully drained) and as is.  There is a mix of Carrier units and Thermoking units and we are not deciphering quantities.  
Total running hours vary between 15,000 to 20,000 hours.

The units can be viewed at Vaughan Terminal.  Contact person is Felix Tasciotti @ 416-688-1244. There will be one viewing only….August 14th, 2018. 
Anyone interested can call Felix ahead of time and needs to ensure they have all their PPE.  Bidding is to close on August 18th, 2018 at End of Day Eastern Standard Time.

All units will be stored and picked up at the following address once the bid is awarded.  There will be a $35 pick-up charge per container that will be invoiced to CP by this 3rd party.
CP in turn will add a $35 charge per container to your offer and issue invoice accordingly.

All units have to be removed from above storage facility within 2 weeks once bid is awarded.  A storage fee of $5 per unit per day will be assessed for units not picked up within the allowable 2 weeks.


INSPECTIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as units will have some wear and tear as they have been in active service for 10+ years.  By Placing an offer, you accept all risks.

CPR markings will be removed. Buyer MUST apply its own labels / markings as soon as practical upon removal.
Written confirmation of new markings MUST be emailed to asset_disposal.ca.

own determination on the suitability and operation condition of the equipment before bidding on units.
Inspection is highly recommended before bidding on these units.

Additional Conditions:

  • Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of the equipment or goods.
  • Inspection will be by appointment only and bidders MUST comply with all safety regulations while on CPKC Property. US Safety Regulations|CAN Safety Regulations
  • CPKC will charge storage fees, at its discretion, for thirty days to bidders that do not remove the equipment or goods by the REMOVAL date. After thirty days, CPKC reserves the right to:
    • Offer the equipment or goods to the next highest bidder without further notice;
    • Initiate legal action with current bidder;
    • Remove bidder from future offerings
  • Successful bidders will be notified. Bids to be valid for a minimum period of 90 days.
